I have emailed to the company, in order to know why did they canceled my order. For the moment still no reply. I had to pay for my credit card use and no notebook... shame on you!!!

I was not impressed by seeing a CC surcharge so late in the ordering process. Emails to the address customerservices@acernotebooks.co.uk given to me are being bounced and not delivered. I had two queries but get no response I was not impressed by being phoned, soon after placing the order, to suggest I get the pre delivery inspection as that was the only way to not get dead pixels

opted for free delivery - expected within 7 days - arrived 2 days after order. Phone call to say order received and being processed. Great service.

Everything was fine with my order until one of the customer representatives sent an email claiming I was unreachable by phone. I was in all day with the phone next to me at this point, and there were no missed calls - this seems to have been a lie to delay my order because of the weekend. When I finally spoke to a phone operative, there was a lot of wrangling required to convince them my place of work was legitimate. I appreciate a need for order security but not a deliberate piece of laziness on behalf of the customer representative because it was a Saturday morning.

The online description of the computer I bought implied it ca with speakers. It arrived without them and although I rang the seller they were adamant they would not supply them. I have asked several people to read the online description and they all have agreed it does imply that the speakers were included.

Actual notebook OK but software recommended by website caused software conflicts on notebook requiring several re-installs of factory default setup. Acer would not accept responsibility, even though retailer used was as direct result of using Acer website

I ended up arguing with their customer support people about terms and conditions, the sale of goods act and the distance selling act, when they refused to send out the mouse I ordered, because I didn't inform them it was missing from the initial delivery within 48 hours. The 48 hour limit is an unreasonable requirement, and it was not clearly stated anywhere in the small print. In fact the instructions seem to say that a customer should wait for 48 hours before contacting them, which I did. They did eventually send out a mouse, as a special dispensation to me, but they clearly thought I was behaving badly and was stupid or something. I worry about other customers who may not be as pushy as me, when they don't recieve the goods they ordered.

Disappointed to have to pay extra for next day delivery and not get delivery for 2 days. Would have appreciated offer of money back because of this.

Product was very competitivly priced. Free delivery with accessories. Order placed on line Sunday, goods delivered 7.30 am Tuesday. Excelent. Highly recommended

You call yourself Acer Notebooks; I seem to be dealing with Laptops Direct: Laptops Direct will take no responsibility for fault on Monitor just refer me to Acer. As the suppliers it is the responsibility of Laptops Direct, and I am therefore taking legal advice.

home website very clear and easy to understand, product imformation was very detailed with clear pictures. next day delivery was on time, laptop just as described, my first acer product and i'm more than pleased with it, supported with excellent value for money. Windows Vista upgrade lets the side down , website constantly giving failed error page when tring to upgrade, i have sent two emails reporting this but a week on with no reply from them. I understand it's Vistas launch week and they must be busy but a short reply would be nice.

I paid extra in order to have delivery on a named day Friday. I stayed in from work that day but the PC was not delivered. (City Link told me that Acer were late delivering it to them.) City Link then attempted to deliver it on Monday three days later when my house was empty. I went to the City Link depot (25 miles away!)to collect the parcel that evening but they had mislaid the parcel! It was eventually delivered next day Tuesday when I again had to arrange to be at home. A very frustrating experience, with a wasted journey and much time spent waiting for people to answer the phone. Neither Acer not City Link were efficient.
